Organic Apps

Today, at project ComProNet, we talked about new functionality in our mobile apps. (ComProNet currently uses a mobile app used by citizens and  professionals/first responders).

During the discussion about future requirements, I coined the name 'Organic App', which might be helping us to get more flexibility in our needs. The idea is that next versions of our mobile apps might get more tightly bound to location and situation. As the (personalized) application on the phone goes along with the user, it might change its behaviour and appearance. In other words, It automatically reconfigues itself along with the environmental needs.

I searched for the term 'organic app' but I only came accross apps that serve recipes for a heathy way living. Maybe the term 'Organic app' from now on might lead to new ways in which mobile equipment facilitates our living.
At least, it does for me...
